While it had been hugely anticipated, it quite failed deliver to the billing as it shied from fluidity and goalscoring opportunities from either side.

The hosts' best first-half chance fell to Living Kabon whose well-taken freekick was met a brilliant Joel Mutakubwa diving save.

That came before BUL threatened, but Ronald Otti headed wide a well-weighted freekick from Emmanuel Obua.

In the second half, Kitara tried to probe for a goal in the 50th minute, but Denis Omedi struck inches wide.

The result gives both fourth-placed SC Villa and fifth side Vipers SC hope in the title charge, as the two have played three games fewer than Kitara and BUL.
