The Crocodiles of Lesotho have officially opened camp in Polokwane, South Africa, ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday.

All 23 invited players are now in camp under the watchful eyes of head coach Leslie Notsi, who will lead his team through their first official training session on Wednesday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, the venue for the match.

Among those who joined up with the squad are South Africa–based stars such as captain Sekhoane Moerane, Thabo Makhele, and Motebang Sera, all of whom featured for their respective clubs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) over the weekend.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m. Nigeria time, with both sides looking to strengthen their qualification hopes in Group C.

Lesotho, currently mid-table, will aim to build on their recent positive performances, while Nigeria seeks to secure maximum points to keep its World Cup qualification dreams on track.
