Lumala finally unveiled at Slaven Belupo after impressing in the friendlies

Former Vipers SC winger Abdu Lumala has finally sealed his move to Croatian top-tier side NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica.

This is after the pacy attacker impressed during the club's trainings and friendly matches.

"The wait is over. Thank you Lord God you are wonderful," Lumala took to his social media handles to celebrate his transfer.

However, the duration of the deal and the finer contractual details are yet to be revealed.

It should be recalled that Lumala was named in the first eleven as Slaven Belupo defeated NK Olimpija Ljubljana 1-0 in a friendly bout on Saturday in a friendly.

Croatian native Ante Suto netted the sole goal to make Lumala's debut a positive one, as he donned "Shirt 99."

At the time of his departure from Uganda, he had only  spent one and a half seasons in the UPL as he won both the Uganda Premier League and the Uganda Cup last campaign with Vipers.

Lumala is expected to make his competitive debut on Friday as Slaven Belupo visits fifth-placed Osijek in Croatian HNL (Super League) .

The club trades in the Croatian SuperSport HNL, which is the topflight league of the country's football structure.

They currently sit eighth on the 10-team table, having accumulated 27 points in as many points.

Rijeka, Hadjuk Split and Dynamo Zagreb sit first, second and third with 59, 55 and 54 points, respectively.

Slaven Belupo was birthed 117 years back in 1907 and hosts its games at Gradski Stadion Ivan Kusek-Apas.
