Manchester United Begin Talks for Onana Replacement

Manchester United have reportedly begun preliminary talks with Antwerp over goalkeeper Jean Butez, according to reports in the British press, via Sportal.

The 23-year-old Belgian has impressed in recent seasons, making 44 appearances for Antwerp last season and keeping 10 clean sheets.

Questions remain about the goalkeeper situation at Old Trafford, with Andre Onana's future uncertain following underwhelming performances since his arrival two years ago.

Despite this, Onana is almost certain to remain at United for at least another year. Altay Bayındır, however, may be given a chance to impress in the early pre-season friendlies due to Onana's injury.

The Turkish keeper has yet to cement his place and a sale remains a possibility, with interest primarily coming from Turkish clubs.
