Former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi is set to be a part of the AFCON 2023 draws taking place in Cote d'Ivoire.

Mikel Obi, the legendary Chelsea and Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, remains one of the most popular ex-footballers within Africa, and across the globe.

Since his retirement, he has remained in the spotlight for all the right reasons and has now been invited to be a major part of the AFCON 2023 draws on Thursday in Abidjan.

Speaking on his social media, after landing in Cote d'Ivoire, Mikel Obi dragged former Chelsea teammates Salomon Kaou and Didier Drogba for not inviting him to the beautiful country during their time together.
