Nigeria’s Remo Stars Academy have played their final game at the ongoing Generation Adidas Cup, GA Cup.
The Remo Academy, known as Beyond Limits, ended their US tour in defeat following a painful 4-1 defeat to Orlando City.
Beyond Limits took the lead but failed to hang on to it as City produced a remarkable second display to blow the Nigerians away.
Match brief
The team came into game in confident mood having won two of two matches in the Showcase category.
This much was evident given the bright and positive start by the No Limits boys who went on to find the breakthrough via Promise Meliga, who put the ahead at the break.
However, following the restart, Beyond Limits met a different City side and it turned out to be their worst performance in the competition.
The MLSNEXT side quickly turned things around en route scoring four goals to completely blow away their counterparts in super fashion.
Priceless time in the US
While the Remo youngsters suffered some setbacks along the way, the trip to the US for the GA Cup as been a memorable and priceless experience.
Remo Stars academy coach Ajibolade Olumide is happy with his team's experience and evolution in the United States of America, USA.
Olumide told Pulse Sports Nigeria from God’s own country where his Beyond Limits boys are currently taking part in the famous MLS NEXT tournament.
Beyond Limits are competing in the U-17 category of the competition and have already qualified for the knockout stage.
The No Limits boys joined the big boys in the next round, winning two of their three games, with four goals scored, two conceded and a clean sheet to finish second.
