Fenerbahce have reportedly registered interest in Marcus Rashford, setting up a sensational reunion between the England international and Jose Mourinho.
Rashford to Turkey
The Yellow Canaries have been quiet this transfer window compared to their two main Istanbul rivals Galatasaray and Besiktas.
They had an interest in Jason Sancho; however, it is increasingly likely that the former Dortmund star will sign for Juventus in Serie A.
According to Fanatik, they have now identified Marcus Rashford as a transfer target and will look to leverage the relationship Mourinho has with the player. Rashford has his sights set on Barcelona, but Fenerbahce hope a phone call from the Portuguese tactician will stack the deck in their favour.
Rashford and Mourinho at Manchester United
The 27-year-old and Jose had a complicated but respectful relationship. They had a player-coach relationship for two and a half seasons (2016–2018), in which the former Aston Villa loanee played over a hundred matches.
The Red Devils are holding out on a €40 million transfer fee for Rashford. Barcelona are asking for a loan with an option to buy, but Manchester United only want a straight sale.
