Future Eagles: Dream Cup journey

It has been a journey to forget for the Future Eagles but most importantly, a learning curve for the U16s in Japan.

The Eagles started their journey with a gallant performance against the Netherlands, who went on to seal a narrow 1-0 win.

In their second game in the Dream Cup, it was a total disaster as the Eagles fell like a pack of cards against host, Japan.

The young Samurais proved just too good for Nigeria following a 6-1 thrashing as reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria.

Nigeria and the US went into the final game as the only teams without a win in the group, but that accolade is now Nigeria’s to take home.
