Nigeria vs Venezuela: Super Eagles to battle La Vinotinto in Houston ahead of AFCON
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face the La Vinotinto of Venezuela in an international friendly match scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025.
The game is set for the Shell Energy Stadium in East Downtown Houston, Texas.

The Super Eagles are in a difficult spot in their quest to qualify for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
For Nigeria, the match serves as a critical opportunity to regroup, as they appear set to miss out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with two games remaining.
The game however will be after the Super Eagles final group games against Lesotho and second placed Benin Republic.
Result from the game will determine if Nigeria will pick up an automatic group ticket to the World Cup, be among the best second placed teams or eliminated from qualification.
Venezuela on the other hand have been eliminated among South American team from qualifying for the tournament.
