Nigerian content creator: Africa's finest man Ademola Lookman opens TikTok account

Super Eagles forward and Atalanta star, Ademola Lookman, has officially joined TikTok, further expanding his social media presence. 

The 27-year-old announced his new account on X (formerly Twitter) with an engaging video, inviting fans to join him on this new journey. 

This announcement comes shortly after Lookman reached a significant milestone by making his 100th appearance for Atalanta during the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal against Inter Milan.

In the video, he expressed his excitement: "Hello everyone, it’s Lookman here. I want to wish everyone a blessed 2025. Welcome to my official TikTok page and come on this journey with me."

A check by Pulse Sports Nigeria shows that Lookman's new TikTok account already has 53.6k followers, with the Nigerian forward following just two accounts privately on the platform. 

Since joining Atalanta from Leicester City in the summer of 2022, Lookman has established himself as a key player, netting an impressive 44 goals and providing 21 assists across all competitions. 

His contributions were key in leading Atalanta to their first-ever European title last season, where he notably scored a historic hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Lookman's rapid rise in football kicked off after his decisive decision to represent Nigeria internationally, a move he credits with transforming his career. 

He has enjoyed considerable success both at the club and national levels, earning individual awards such as the recent 2024 African Player of the Year award.
