Ogunneye has been putting in the work with the first team throughout the week, gearing up for the challenge against Coventry City.

According to reports by Manchester Evening News, Ogunneye travelled with the Manchester United first team to London on Saturday ahead of the crucial showdown at Wembley Stadium. Amidst an injury crisis gripping the Red Devils, Ogunneye's inclusion underscores the club's faith in his abilities.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag faces selection dilemmas due to the unavailability of key players like Willy Kambwala, Sofyan Amrabat, and Mason Mount.

Although Ogunneye is yet to make his senior debut, his potential has not gone unnoticed by Erik Ten Hag. 

The former England U17 international has been on the radar of the coaching staff, earning call-ups for Premier League encounters against formidable opponents such as Manchester City, Everton, Liverpool, and Bournemouth.

Despite being named as a non-playing substitute in the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Nottingham Forest, Ogunneye's presence signals his imminent breakthrough.
