No Sentamu, Travis Mutyaba as Uganda Cranes coach Paul Put names squad for friendly against Kuwait
Sentamu has managed three goals and four assists in 15 Uganda Premier League matches.
Put's summoned squad is a full make of locally-based players featuring in the domestic leagues.
However, Vipers SC talisman Yunus Sentamu, who recently returned to the national team after a self-induced spell on the sidelines, has missed out on the call-up.
Sentamu has managed three goals and four assists in 15 Uganda Premier League matches.
There's also no place for youngster Travis Mutyaba, as he is currently unattached to a club.
The former SC Villa playmaker was listed as a Dynamo Tiblinse (Georgia) player months back, but he has never been unveiled and has been in the country since.
However, there's a spot for young forward Allan Oyirwoth, who features for Regional League side Myda FC and Amus College.
The game against Kuwait will be played on January 19 in Cairo, Egypt.
The team is expected to enter the residential camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi, on January 11, 2024, and then travel to Egypt four days later.
