Noah Lyles Teases Details of Spring 2026 Wedding, Junelle Bromfield Says ‘So Much the Future Holds’
U.S. track and field star Noah Lyles and Jamaican athlete Junelle Bromfield are gearing up for one of the most anticipated weddings in the world of athletics.
The couple, who announced their engagement in October 2024, are set to tie the knot in the spring of 2026 with an intimate but vibrant celebration planned for around 250 guests.
The sprinting power couple has openly shared their journey with fans, from their engagement to behind-the-scenes glimpses of their preparations.

Lyles recently took the excitement a step further, asking fans on social media if he should livestream parts of the wedding process.
The love story between Lyles and Bromfield has been nothing short of unique. They first connected in 2018 after Bromfield slid into Lyles’ DMs.
Although their initial date was not a success, the two remained friends and eventually reconnected years later. By 2022, their friendship had blossomed into romance, and the rest is history.
In a story shared on Instagram, Lyles posed the question directly to fans: “Should me and @junellebromfield stream our wedding process,” sparking plenty of speculation about whether the sprinter might actually give audiences a virtual front-row seat to their big day.
Wedding Plans Take Shape
Bromfield, who specializes in the 400m, has been candid about her vision for the wedding.
Speaking to People Magazine, she revealed her determination to keep the event both personal and celebratory of her Jamaican heritage.
“If it was up to Noah, we'd probably have like 400 people. We're only having about 250, so I got the number down a little bit. I want to get as many Jamaicans involved as possible - my makeup artist, my dress, everything. One of our wedding themes will be all things melanin, all the shades. When I think about spending my life with Noah, I feel very excited because I know there's so much the future holds for us,” she said as quoted by SportsKeeda.
While Bromfield has her eye on tradition and cultural pride, Lyles is equally enthusiastic about putting his stamp on the reception.
“I’m going to be honest, the reception is definitely going to be heavily influenced by me. I want everybody to have fun and interact with each other. I want the cultures mixing, people taking photos and everybody showing up in their Sunday best,” the reigning world champion explained.
A Busy Time Beyond the Track
Both athletes are balancing their sporting careers with their personal lives as they prepare for the big day.
Lyles last competed at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where he captured gold medals in the 200m and 4x100m relay, reaffirming his dominance on the global stage.
Bromfield, meanwhile, has been on a competitive break since the Paris Olympics in 2024.
While her future in athletics remains open, she appears to be channeling her energy into wedding planning and exploring opportunities beyond track and field.
