Ndolo, together with NOC-K Secretary General Francis Mutuku, Athlete Representative Humphrey Kayange, and Caroline Kariuki, a representative from the Ministry of Sports, held an online meeting on Friday, June 2, to forge the way forward and explore the pathway for her.

“In her pursuit of Olympic qualification, all parties are committed to supporting her journey toward excellence and fostering her potential.

"Exciting plans were unveiled to provide unwavering support as she prepares for the Africa Championships in Egypt,” read a Twitter post from NOC-K.

The Africa Games will be a crucial step for Ndolo as she also seeks to participate in the World Championships from Saturday 22 to Sunday, 30 July.

In the recent past, Ndolo had taken to her social media to rant about how she had been neglected and lamented that she was funding most of her events.

The 2022 world women’s epee silver medallist made her decision to represent Kenya late last year after raising Germany’s flag high by winning three medals.

She bagged silver at the 2017 European Championships and a bronze at the European Championships. She also won silver at the 2022 World Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
