Nigerian football prospect Oluwabunmi Babajide has gone viral for changing clubs.

The 22-year-old forward who played for Hampton and Richmond Borough last season in the National League South has joined Tonbridge Angels.

Bunmi, spent his youth career at Millwall and Queens Park Rangers before entering senior football with Corinthian Casuals.

He also featured for Waltham Abbey, and Egham Town, eventually moving into step three with Carshalton Athletic.

During the 2023/24 season, Bunmi had a breakout year with Carshalton, netting 20 goals in 37 matches in the Isthmian Premier League.

His performance caught the eye of Hampton & Richmond, where he made 20 appearances last season.

In a statement Bunmi expressed his delight at joined Tonbridge Angels.

He said, "I’m really happy to be joining Tonbridge Angels.

"After speaking with the gaffer, I felt this was the right place for me to grow and show what I can do.

"I’m ready to work hard, enjoy my football, and contribute with goals and performances the fans can be proud of."
