Osimhen ahead of Salah as Lookman and Arokodare make top-scoring African list

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan during the summer transfer window, has been one of the most in-form strikers in Europe.

The Nigerian international led his team to their first trophy this season, winning the Turkish Cup and also on the verge of winning the league.

His performance has caught the attention of top clubs in Europe, with the likes of Juventus and Chelsea battling for his signature.

This season, despite the number of attacking players scoring remarkably, Osimhen has come out as one of the top scorers.

The 26-year-old was ranked above the likes of Mohamed Salah, Ademola Lookman, Cyriel Dessers and others among the top-scoring African players this season.

Osimhen is number one with 35 goals for Galatasaray in all competitions, with Salah coming second with 33 goals.

Other Super Eagles forwards like Toul Arokodare and Lookman made the list. Arokodare occupied eighth place with 22 goals and Lookman 10th place with 20 goals for their respective clubs.

With just three games left to play in the Turkish League, Osimhen will be looking to add more goals and increase his lead in the top-scoring African list.
