Paris 2024: Another medal for Nigeria as Isau Ogunkunle continue dominance in Table Tennis
Nigerian table tennis sensation, Isau Ogunkunle, has clinched a bronze medal at the ongoing Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Competing in the Men's singles Class 4, Ogunkunle won a bronze medal which is the fifth for Team Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

While Ogunkunle fell short in the semifinals against Tokyo 2020 silver medalist Kim Young-Gun, his journey to the podium was nothing short of remarkable.
In the Round of 16, he stunned the world by defeating reigning Paralympic champion Abdullah Ozturk of Turkey in a thrilling match.
He followed this up with an equally impressive victory over Maxime Thomas, a Tokyo 2020 bronze medalist in the quarterfinals, to secure his place in the semifinals.

Ugwunwa Wins Silver In Javelin
Also, Flora Ugwunwa has secured a silver medal for Nigeria in the women's Javelin F54 event. The 40-year-old athlete's impressive throw of 19.26 meters placed her second behind Uzbekistan's Nurkhon Kurbanova, who set a new world record with a throw of 21.12 meters.
The bronze medal in the women's javelin F54 went to Elham Salehi of Iran with a throw of 16.24 meters.
Ugwunwa has now won three consecutive Paralympic medals, including two gold medals at the Rio and Tokyo Games.
