After reports emerging last week that Tanzanian kingpins Young Africans SC had expressed interest in alluring KCCA FC forward Muhammad Shaban, Kenyan giants Gor Mahia have entered the race, per reliable sources.

Shaban's contract at KCCA has about three months before expiration, and the club is already in talks for an extension.

However, talks are getting complicated by the day with the fast-emerging interests from outside the country.

Sources close to Shaban have intimated that Gor Mahia and former Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan Mckinstry is a huge admirer of the goal-scorer and wants the club to secure his signature.

The 26-year-old has also scored two Stanbic Uganda Cup goals so far this season.

Since his return to KCCA, the Uganda Cranes forward has netted 16 goals in 36 games.
