Riyadh Mahrez, Benrahama join Algerian party for Uganda Cranes match
Riyadh Mahrez has joined the Algeria team ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on Sunday in Cameroon.
The Desert Fox captain was granted some time off to celebrate with Manchester City after winning the UEFA Champions League.
The Citizens beat Italian giants Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, to be crowned champions of Europe for the first time in history.
He arrived with West Ham’s Said Benrahama, who won the UEFA Europa Conference League with the London side.

Mahrez and Benrahma will be part of the travelling party that will fly to Cameroon just 24 hours before the game against Uganda.
The Algerians are playing the match for formality and pride after sealing their qualification in March with a 100 percent record.
However, the Uganda Cranes must win the game to keep their hopes of qualifying for the Ivory Coast finals alive.
