Unstoppable Bagsman! Black Stars' Semenyo fires Bournemouth to best PL start after another G/A masterclass

Ghana and Black Stars foreward Antoine Semenyo continues to blaze a trail for Bournemouth with another outstanding performance, firing the club to its best start in the Premier League. 

Semenyo’s goal and assist helped Bournemouth secure a 2-1 victory over Brighton, marking their third consecutive win and nine points from their opening three matches, all-time Premier League best for the club.

Brighton faced an uphill battle after losing key players Jack Hinshelwood and Maxim De Cuyper to early injuries, conceding the opener to Bournemouth’s Alex Scott. 

Although Kauro Mitoma leveled the score soon after the second half began, Semenyo’s composure was decisive. 

He calmly converted a penalty just after the hour mark, sealing the win and extending Bournemouth’s perfect start underlining his importance as their key 'bagsman.'

Semenyo’s all-round contribution was impressive, showing his influence across the pitch. His numbers from the match highlight his dynamism: 

53 total touches, including six inside the box, five passes into the final third, and two chances created. 

Defensively, he contributed with three clearances and won three tackles, alongside three successful take-ons. His two shots led to a goal and an assist, underlining his clinical edge in front of goal.

The Ghanaian striker has become Bournemouth’s talisman this season, and his form - three goals and two assists - is fueling the club’s best-ever Premier League opening.
