Sergio Traguil and his dreadful record at KCCA FC

KCCA FC manager Sergio Traguil has endured a tough start to life in Uganda since joining in June.

Having taken part in three different competitions thus far, the Portuguese tactician remains without much success and has his future hanging in the balance.

Traguil has been eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminaries on top of failing to register success in the FUFA Super 8 Tournament.

And his start in the Startimes Uganda Premier League could not have been any worse -three straight defeats have the 13-time champions languishing in the relegation zone with no points on board and a dismal -3 goal difference.

In total, Traguil has managed eight competitive matches for the Lugogo based outfit, claiming a mere three wins and losing five.

Two of the three victories came against Wakiso Giants FC and SC Villa in the FUFA Super 8 while the other was against Abu Salem in the Confederation Cup preliminaries.

The 2-1 loss to URA FC in the Super 8 semis marked the start of a terrible run for the Kasasiro Boys and despite defeating Villa 3-2 in the bronze match, there has been little to celebrate since then.

A heavy 3-1 defeat to Abu Salem in Tunisia left KCCA with a mountain to climb in the return leg and a 3-2 victory at Kitende was insufficient as they crashed out.

BUL FC inflicted more pain in the opening game of the season before Maroons FC and Express picked 2-1 wins at Lugogo to leave Traguil in a spot of bother.

Up next for Traguil and his charges is a tricky trip to Masindi to face table leaders Kitara FC.

NEC FC, Arua Hill and Vipers will then look to add to Traguil's troubles in the next league matches.
