Mimosas Women produced a ruthless performance to destroy their visitors Saba FC 30-0 on the final day of the regular season in Cote d’Ivoire.

The incredible match was played at the Jesse Jackson Complex in Abidjan on Saturday.

Ruthless Mimosas undress depleted Saba

The visitors shocked their hosts when they turned at the Jackson Complex with just eight players in the matchday squad to face the ruthless home side per ASEC website. 

Without showing sympathy, the Mimosas ladies unleashed carnage on Saba, scoring 15 goals in either half to completely annihilate the helpless Saba ladies.

Coach Adelaide’s Mimosas women were absolutely dominant, comfortable and clinical on the day to finish with an easy win.

ASEC Mimosas Women finished top of Pool A with 12 points.

Following the memorable win, the Mimosas women complete the regular season on a high to finish top of their group, Pool A.

Mimosas are on 12 points and will now wait to go head-to-head with winners of the other pools to determine who will emerge as champion in Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, 24 hours after the women’s team blitzed into the playoffs, their men’s counterparts also did the club proud on the continent.

ASEC Mimosas reached the semifinals of the CAFCC after a 2-0 aggregate win over defending champions US Monastir.

A goal in either half from Franck Zouzou and Pascome Zouzoua was all the Ivorian giants needed to see off the holders in the CAFCC quarterfinal on Sunday.

ASEC will now face another Northern African team in USM Algier in the last four for a place in the final of the 2023 CAFCC.
