Zambian striker Clatous Chama scored a hattrick as Malian Saido Kanoute and Congolese Jean Othos added a brace each to send the Msimbazi giants into the quarterfinals.

The three scorers marched straight into the team of the week alongside right-back Shomari Kapombe.

Denis Onyango’s substitute at Mamelodi Sundowns Williams Ronwen was the best goalkeeper.

His compatriot Percy Tau and his Al Ahly teammate Mahmoud Khraba whose goals revived the Egyptians’ chances were among the best forwards.
