Spoelstra backs Gabe Vincent and Miami Heat to beat Denver Nuggets in Game 5
Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets is set to take place tonight.
Since their entrance into the NBA about 50 years ago, the Nuggets now have a chance to win the franchise's first title.
They have a 3-1 advantage after winning both of their away games last week, and tomorrow is their opportunity to secure the triumph at home.
Max Strus and Gabe Vincent have combined to make 2-of-17 3-point attempts over the past two games after making 8-of-16 in Game 2 of the series.
Their season is on the line tonight, and head coach Erik Spoelstra is counting on his squad to win.
Spoelstra on Miami Heat
Speaking at the pre-game press conference, Spoelstra said, “We have just -- I've used this term before, savage competitors. They love the ultimate challenges and the ultimate competition.
“Some of the fiercest battles were back in training camp when we were competing and splitting up teams.

"We could barely get through those full-contact practices without everybody screaming at each other, yelling at the coaches that are officiating, arguing about the scores.
“It's that level of intensity when they are playing and competing for a score.”
The Miami Heat need a win or the Denver Nuggets will be crowned NBA champions and bring an end to the 2022/23 season.
