Strength, Speed, Football IQ: Victor Boniface builds his perfect Leverkusen player

Victor Boniface backed himself when asked to create his perfect Bayer Leverkusen player by selecting unique attributes from his surfeit of teammates. 

In a short video that surfaced online, the Nigeria international chose himself twice among the six categories, with a teammate each for the remaining four brackets.

Boniface opted for Alejandro Grimaldo’s left foot and Florian Wirtz’s right foot before choosing Jeremie Frimpong’s speed. 

The Nigerian then picked himself for the “strength” and “skills” category and went with Exequiel Palacios for the player with the perfect football brain. 

Boniface’s Leverkusen returned to the Champions League this week with the striker playing a commendable part in the Bundesliga defending champions’ 4-0 success at Eredivisie side Feyenoord, even if his post-match tweet generated extended conversation on X, formerly Twitter.
