Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu’s Enyimba pocket $400,000 from CAF

Enyimba International Football Club, led by Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu, have secured a substantial sum of over ₦600 million (approximately $400,000) for finishing third in Group D of the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup.

Despite not advancing beyond the group stage, the team's participation in the CAF Confederation Cup has yielded a considerable financial return.

This windfall includes the $400,000 prize for their third-place finish in the CAFCC, adding to the base amount of $1 million received from CAF’s African Football League over the past 18 months.
