Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu's son signs for European club

Sean Kanu, the son of Nigerian football legend Nwankwo Kanu, has officially signed with Klub Sportowy Górnik Polokwice of Poland.

The young player will want to follow in his father's footsteps in European football.

Sean Kanu, a 19-year-old forward, joins the Polish club's third-tier league, eager to make his mark and carry on his family's celebrated football legacy.

Following the unveiling of her son, Sean Kanu, a proud mother took to social media to express her overwhelming joy and admiration for his achievement.

"Congratulations, son, Sean Kanu. You have put in so much work and dedication to your craft, and I am so proud of you. More goals up in front," she wrote, sharing her heartfelt message with her online followers.

His father, Nwankwo Kanu, is one of Africa's most decorated footballers, with an impressive record that includes winning the UEFA Champions League, Premier League titles, and two African Player of the Year awards.

Sean has spent years growing in different academics including time at Watford FC's youth academy in England.

His transition to Górnik Polkowice will make his first foray into professional football, offering him the platform to develop further and showcase his talent on the European stage.
