Onyeka and Wissa combine for Brentford vs Chelsea
Despite another solid performance, the Nigerian's efforts were not enough as Chelsea snatched a point through centre-back Axel Disasi's late equaliser.
The visitors had gone ahead early through Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson's eighth goal of the season for the Blues in the PL.
Brentford responded well in the second half, with Mads Roerslev equalising five minutes after the break.
Onyeka then helped to unlock the Chelsea defence, playing a pass for Wissa to acrobatically fire home a 69th-minute stunner.
However, Brentford failed to hold on to the lead as Disasi rose highest to power home a lovely delivery from Cole Palmer to ensure the points were shared.
Onyeka's assist means he now has two assists in nine starts in the Premier League for the Bees.
The midfielder has been in excellent form and continued that against Chelsea before being replaced late on.
While Brentford will be disappointed not to get all three points, Thomas Frank's side once again showed they can live with the league's elite teams. But he would be worried that his Bees Bhave now lost 28 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season, more than any other team.
