Despite having roughly three months left on his contract with the Premier League club, he has had an impact on the team’s defensive solidity.

Aina's market value increases

The market value of Premier League players was updated on Tuesday, March 18 by Transfermarkt, a transfer market and statistics website. 

The update resulted in a €20 million (approximately N33.6 billion) valuation for the former Chelsea player.

Ola Aina's market value was valued at €14 million in December 2024, prior to the recent update.

The right back's defensive prowess has been a highlight throughout the season, as evidenced by his league-leading success in winning possession within the defensive third among players in the top five European leagues. 

Since joining Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, he has become a mainstay in the Premier League, appearing in 52 matches and contributing three goals and two assists.

Nottingham Forest are attempting to secure a new contract with their two-time European champion, amidst speculation about his future at the City Ground. 

While Manchester City has shown interest in the 28-year-old, they have not made a formal offer.
