Tanzanians to pay shs 5,000 to watch Stars-Uganda
Tanzanian fans will pay as low as shs. 5,000 to watch the high-stake 2023 Africa Cup of Nations matchday four qualifier between their own Taifa Stars and Uganda Cranes.
The Group F fixture will be played on Tuesday 28th March at the Benjamin Mukapa International stadium four days after the two nations face in the reverse fixture in Egypt.
Uganda hosts its match in Egypt due to a lack of facilities.
Uganda and Tanzania sit at the bottom of the pool with a point apiece and, therefore, the double-header offers a chance for the CECAFA neighbour to revive their campaign. Algeria has six points followed by Guinea with two.
The lowest ticket will go for Tshs. 3,000, the very important person tickets will go for Tshs. 5000 while VVIP pays Tshs. 10,000. That translates to approximately shs. 5,000, shs.8,000, and shs. 16,000 respectively in Ugandan currency.
The move by TFF is in a bid to make the best out of their home-ground advantage.
