Gor Mahia head coach Sinisa Mihic has openly criticized Tusker FC for resorting to what he termed as 'dirty' tactics in their FKF Premier League (FKFPL) clash on Sunday.

In a crucial top-of-the-table encounter, the FKFPL defending champions were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw despite dominating possession and keeping Tusker pinned in their own half for most of the game.

Mihic did not hold back in his assessment of the Brewers' approach, questioning their style of play.

"We controlled the game because they were not dangerous. They did not play football... you know, passing around. They just threw the ball, and it's a fact," Mihic said as per KE Football.

"They had no combination play, and we forced them offside so they had no solution. They kicked the ball out everywhere."

K’Ogalo were left frustrated in attack, failing to capitalize on their dominance.

The defending champions have faced persistent struggles in front of goal in recent matches, largely due to the absence of midfielder Austin Odhiambo.

Odhiambo has shouldered much of the goal-scoring responsibility since the departure of talismanic striker Benson Omala, netting six goals to lead the Gor Mahia scoring charts.

Summer signing Congolese forward Gedeon Bendeka has yet to impress, while Ugandan striker Charles Bbaale, who made his full debut against Tusker, is still finding his footing in the team.

The draw saw Mihic's side remain in third place with 35 points, trailing Tusker, who sit second with 39 points, and league leaders Kenya Police with 41 points.

With the imminent return of Austin Odhiambo and the reinforcement of Charles Bbaale, Gor Mahia will be looking to rediscover their goal-scoring form as they push to overtake Tusker and Kenya Police in the race for the FKFPL title.
