Three back, one out and two major doubts as KCCA hosts Gaddafi
It will be bittersweet for the KCCA FC faithful against Gaddafi FC as; while they are set to welcome several faces, a few key players are likely to sit out the action.
The Kasasiro Boys have confirmed star-marksman Muhammad Shaban and defenders Peter Magambo and Filbert Obenchan are all back from their respective suspensions.
The trio missed last Friday's 2-1 defeat to Busoga United, but are back and are in contention to feature against Gaddafi tomorrow, at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
"Obenchan is the captain, Shaban and Magambo are senior players, so it's a big boost," KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru told the press in his pre-match interview.
However, the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions will be without defender Mustafa Mujuzi against the army side.
"Unfortunately, we are bound to miss Mustafa Mujuzi, but like I always say, all players are ready to give their when called up," Mubiru revealed.
Mubiru further revealed that attackers Usama Arafat and Hassan Mubiru are doubts for the encounter and will need late tests.
"We're going to assess their condition (that is, Usama and Mubiru); they have been down with malaria, flu and cough."
"After the assessment in today's training, we'll know if they'll play or miss the game," the tactician added.
KCCA sit second from bottom after collecting just four points in their opening eight games of the season.
Meanwhile, Gaddafi occupies eighth on the 16-team log, having garnered ten points out of a possible 24.
