Defending champions Vipers SC will hope to complete a double over NEC FC as the two lock horns in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday, at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

The Venoms were emphatic 4-1 winners over the Diehards in the first round, courtesy of a Fumador Asiwome hattrick and one from Yunus Sentamu.

Oldboy Cromwell Rwothomio scored NEC's consolation at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

The Venoms sit second with 49 points, the same tally as leaders BUL FC, who take on Gaddafi FC on the day.

Meanwhile, NEC, who are Uganda Cup finalists, occupy sixth on the log with 44 points.

The two sides had never met in competitive matches before this season, putting Vipers head to head record at one victory and no defeats for the latter.
