Tottenham sign Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon
Tottenham have officially announced the signing of Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon on loan with an obligation to buy.
The 23-year-old, who was a main feature in Ruben Amorim’s side, leaves the club after winning three trophies—the Portuguese League once and the League Cup twice—to join Tottenham.

The announcement came shortly after the transfer deadline had passed; however, the transaction had already been completed and was awaiting official confirmation.
Tottenham sign Porro following the confirmation of the loan moves of Djed Spence to Rennes and Matt Doherty to Atletico Madrid.
The Premier League club had been negotiating for the 23-year-old wing-back since the beginning of the transfer window. An agreement was reported to have been reached at some point during the drawn-out negotiations, but the deal fell through as Sporting Lisbon were said to have reneged on it. Both parties evidently got back to the table, as the player has now joined the Lilywhites.
Porro becomes another January inclusion at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium after the loan signing of Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal.
Sporting Lisbon have already made a move to replace Pedro Porro, having completed the signing of Hector Bellerin from Barcelona.
Pedro Porro will wear the number 23 jersey at Tottenham and is immediately included in the squad dynamics.
