U17 Women's World Cup Qualifiers: Team Uganda jets out to Cameroon
Uganda U17 Women’s National Team on Wednesday morning jetted out to Cameroon ahead of their return leg against in the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Tied 1-1 after the first leg played at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on Saturday, the contest will therefore be decided on enemy territory for the Teen Cranes.
It should be noted that Agnes Nabukenya scored for Uganda, while Ernestine Heutcho equalized for Cameroon last Saturday.
Coach Sheryl Botes has named a travelling squad of 17 players that will be tasked with the duty of getting a positive result at Stade de Ngoa-Ekellé, Yaounde on Friday when the two teams face off again.
The winner between Uganda and Cameroon on aggregate will face either Zambia or Tanzania in the third round.
