Lukwago was unused in the game, but his team held on to share spoils against Dire Dawa Kenema in the Eastern part of the country.
The Addis Ababa giants went into the final match for formality after accumulating an unassailable 63 points from 29 games.
Lukwago helped the club to break their five-year drought last season after joining the club from KCCA FC in September 2021.
