Uganda Cup all-time record: Vipers aim to go joint 4th with URA
Vipers Sports Club could go joint-4th with URA if they go on and overcome Police in 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda final in Lira on Saturday.
KCCA and Express lead the all-time record with ten titles, one ahead of Sports Club Villa, who have won nine.
URA, who last won it nine years ago beating KCCA 4-2 in penalty shootouts in Mbale, stand fourth.
Vipers first won the Uganda Cup in 2016 when they beat Onduparaka at nakivubo and then an 8-1 over BUL two years ago.
Should they win today, the Venoms will become the fourth successive club -and ranked above URA for reaching more finals, seven compared to the Tax Collectors’ five - as they also become the fourth team to win a double.
