Usain Bolt and Noah Lyles make Christian Coleman's all-time 4x100m squad list
US speedster Christian Coleman has named his all-time men's 4x100m relay team, featuring the fastest man in history Usain Bolt and triple world champion Noah Lyles.
Coleman became the 2019 world 100m champion and also won gold as part of the men's 4x100m relay squad. His personal best of 9.76s makes him the sixth fastest in history, while he is the 60m world indoor record holder at 6.34s.
When asked to name his all-time 4x100m relay squad, the two-time Diamond League champion (2018 and 2023) wasted no time revealing his dream list.
"I'll start it off, I'll go first, I'll put Bolt on second, I'll give it to Maurice Greene on third, and then I'll let Noah bring it home," he said in an interview with @trackworldnews on Instagram.
Coleman was one of the very few sprinters to defeat Bolt during his active years and remains one of Lyles's top rivals in the 60m and 200m events.
He made his 2024 season's debut at the Millrose Games, winning the 60m event in 6.51s.
