Rwanda won the toss and opted to bat but never got going, as Victoria Pearls fielded well.

“We love setting the score but today I wanted to field first,” Victoria Pearls Consy Aweko had said after the toss.

Gilese Ishimwe led the charts for Rwanda, picking up 14 runs off 40 balls, while Clarrise Umutoniwase added 12 runs off 28 balls.

Uganda fielded well, limiting Rwanda to 61 all out, with Irene Olumo and captain Consylate Aweko picking up two wickets each in their four overs, respectively.
