It was the best the Gazelles have ever attained at the continental showpiece.

It was however not just about the finish but the overall display at the tournament, where they also beat 13-time champions Senegal.

After making the country proud, the Gazelles are back in the country as they jetted in earlier on Monday, after about a fortnight away.

Their return came on the back of an industrious open-bus tour around the beautiful Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, who were the hosts.

Each of the Gazelles' faces rightly had an expression of 'job-well-done'.
