WATCH: How the beautiful Amahoro stadium will look after completion

It’s no secret that Rwanda has become a trailblazer in the East Africa region with sports infrastructure and tourism.

The great rift valley nation has invested heavily in sport, from securing shirt sponsorship deals with top English premier league side Arsenal and French club giants PSG to constructing a state-of-the-art basketball arena.

Rwanda’s latest sports project is the renovation of the Amahoro stadium; the country’s only national stadium is getting a facelift and an increase in capacity from a 25,000-seater to a 45,000-seater.

The latest artistic stadium impressions that show how the stadium will look after completion make the whole project even more enjoyable.

The stadium will be fully roofed and fitted with seats with another artificial turf open stadium on the side.

Construction works are already in high gear, with Rwanda’s New Times, a publication releasing a video of the progress at the stadium last week.

After completion, expected in June 2024, the Amahoro stadium will be one of the best modern state-of-the-art stadiums in the East Africa region and Africa.
