Like it has been all season, Uganda Cranes starlets Ibrahim Kasule 'Baba' and Frank Ssebufu were yet again at their brilliant best as they guided New York Red Bulls 2 past Chicago Fire II to a 4-1 win in the MLS Next Pro League playoffs.

Kasule netted a brace with an assist, while Ssebufu added a goal as New York Red Bulls 2 cruised past Chicago at the MSU Soccer Park on Sunday.

Ssebufu opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Kasule assisted O'vonte Mullings in the 25th minute.

The Ugandan playmaker got his name on the score sheet in the 45th minute before summing the evening with another at the death.

The two goals took Kasule's goal tally to 17 in 26 matches, while he has also amassed six assists in the season.

Kasule's scintillating display came off the back of being named in the MLS Next Pro League Team of the Regular Season.

Meanwhile, his compatriot Ssebufu has acquitted himself well, managing eight goals and four assists in 26 appearances.

Following the Sunday victory, New York Red Bulls 2 assumed a place in the MLS Next Pro quarterfinal playoffs.
