[Watch]: Paul Mucureezi hands Alex Isabirye his first defeat at Express
Paul Mucureezi was the punisher for Kitara Football Club as they beat seven-time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC 1-0 at the Masindi Playgrounds on Tuesday.
The former Vipers SC midfielder scored a first-half header to hand Alex Isabirye defeat on his maiden game as Express head coach.
The tactician was on the touchline for the first time since assuming reigns last week on a reported one-month contract.
On the evening, Express should have grabbed an early lead in the eighth minute, but Emmanuel Wasswa was unluckily denied by the crossbar.
That was before Mucureezi connected with Living Kabon's perfectly weighted cross to steer a glancing header for the day's sole goal.

And despite a spirited fight from the Red Eagles, they couldn't find a leveller as The Royals returned to winning ways.
Following the result, it's now seven games without victory for Express, who have lost four and drawn thrice in the process.
They currently sit eighth with 13 points after eleven games and won't return to action until December 21 when they will host NEC FC at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
A day earlier, third-placed Kitara, who are on 22 points, will visit Mbarara City FC at the Kakyeka Stadium.
