We’re not under a crisis – BUL
BUL FC's assistant coach Dan Kabale has quashed talk that the club is in a crisis after going seven games in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League without a win.
The ‘Eastern Giants’ last won a league match before Christmas when they emptied their magazines to thrash Maroons 5-0.
Since then, Valentine’s Day has passed with no love, lent and resurrection found them trapped in the same tomb before succumbing to a 2-1 loss last week as they bowed out of the Uganda Cup.
They have scored only thrice in 630-plus minutes and conceded eight during the same period.
Kabale says that is not a crisis but a normal run on the curve.
“We’re not in a crisis like people think but a bad run,” Kabale was speaking ahead of their derby against Busoga United on Friday at Kakindu.
“We were in a better place before so we are just experiencing a bad run. BUL has been one of the best scoring teams but we had issues because of some injuries that have affected us,” he added.
BUL has since dropped from second place and two points behind the top spot to fourth with 30 points, 13 behind SC Villa at the top.
