When will Onyango and Watenga return to Mamelodi for pre-season?

Masandawana's reporting date is Thursday, June 29th, 2023, a day before Onyango's contract at the club expires.

Ugandan goalkeepers Denis Onyango and Isma Watenga can call it a holiday with the return to South Africa imminent.

Onyango and Watenga ply their trade with the Premier Soccer League giants Mamelodi Sundowns, who have set the return dates for players before pre-season.

According to Soccer Luduma, Masandawana's reporting date is Thursday, June 29th, 2023, a day before Onyango's contract at the club expires.

The Brazilians have already tabled a one-year contract renewal for the former Uganda Cranes captain and are only waiting for his consent.

Meanwhile, Watenga will also be eager to know what is next with his future at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium. He spent last season on loan at Murumo Gallants.

The future of head coach Rulani Mokwena has already been sorted out after he signed a new four-year contract last week.

Rulani will therefore focus on also sorting the future of Onyango, Watenga, and other players during the early stages of the team's return to Chloorkop.

The Bafana Ba Style only won the PSL title last season and hopes to improve next season and compete favourably in the CAF Champions League, Telkom Knockout Cup, and the MTN 8.
