Why Scottish club signed Ugandan winger

Scottish Premiership side Hibernian announced their acquisition of English-born Ugandan winger Jordan Obita on a two-year contract.
Obita, 29, crossed over from English League One side Wycombe Wanderers, where he had played for two seasons.
The team’s head coach Lee Johnson said that the club picked Obita because of his experience and his versatility.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Club having left Wycombe Wanderers this summer. Hibernian FC hold an option to extend his contract by a further season.
“We’re excited to bring a player of Jordan’s experience to the Football Club,” Hibernian FC Manager Lee Johnson commented, adding that;
“He gives us extra options all the way up the left-hand-side, and his ability from set plays will add an extra dimension to the squad. We look forward to working with him.”
According to the statistics, Obita has over 300 career appearances garnered while playing for different English Football League clubs for over a decade.
He made 34 appearances for Wycombe Wanderers, featuring mainly as a left-back.
