Four days down, five to go and the track and field action at the 2025 World Athletics Championships continues in thrilling fashion in Tokyo, Japan.
After an exciting fourth day on Tuesday, where four finals were contested with some surprising outcomes, the action moves to the fifth day on Wednesday September 17.
Fans can look forward to four more finals on Day 5 with Kenyans in with a chance of winning more medals in the 3,000m steeplechase final, where Faith Cherotich is among the favourites, while Reynold Cheruiyot and Timothy Cheruitot contest the men’s 1,500m final.
