Two weeks after Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic's sacking from the Uganda Cranes head coach job, striker Yunus Sentamu has hinted at a possible return to the fold.

Sentamu has since shunned the national team and refused to join the team when called by Micho last year.

However, in his latest X activity, Sentamu posted, "Hello Uganda Cranes," to spur excitement among the faithful.

Then, it was reported that the vastly talented player did not precisely buy into Micho's tactics, opting to stay out indefinitely.

Sentamu has established himself as one of the finest strikers in the country over the recent seasons in the Uganda Premier League.

He is a fine goal-scorer and a proven playmaker, especially when operating from the left wing.

This season, in just two Uganda Premier League matches, Sentamu has amassed an assist apiece against Gadaffi FC and Arua Hill SC.

The striker also netted twice in Vipers' failed 2023/24 CAF Champions League journey as they beat Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy 2-1 at Kitende.

However, the latter made it to the second preliminary round over a 3-2 aggregate victory.
