The star footballers have all been accused of sexual-related crimes

Banners pointing fingers at ex-Manchester City left back Benjamin Mendy, PSG’s Achraf Hakimi and Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder were displayed near Lorient stadium before the French club’s opening Ligue 1 game of the season against OGC Nice

According to Le Télégramme, the banners were displayed on Lorient’s Grand Théâtre steps – near Les Merlus‘ Stade du Moustoir.

“What is the justice system doing? B. Mendy, A. Hakimi, W. Ben Yedder. No forgetting. No forgiveness," the banner read.

The outlet understands that the banner, which was displayed by a group of unknown individuals, was displayed on Friday night.

Benjamin Mendy was cleared of all charges of sexual crimes last month by the Chester Crown Court. Only days after the verdict, he sealed a return to Ligue 1 by signing a two-year contract with Lorient.

Meanwhile, Hakimi was accused of rape by a 24-year-old woman last February. The Moroccan international was charged several days later with an investigation underway.

As for Ben Yedder, the France international has also been charged with rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault.
