Cristiano Ronaldo continues to ink his name into the history books after the Portuguese superstar netted his 50th goal for Al-Nassr to seal a crucial 1-0 away win over Al-Ahli.

The 39-year-old achieved the milestone in typical Ronaldo fashion, calmly slotting home a 68th-minute penalty to decide a tense Saudi Pro League encounter in Al-Nassr's favour.

The winning strike saw Ronaldo bring up his tally to half-century goals for the Saudi giants in his 58th appearance since making the high-profile move from Manchester United in January 2023.

It's the latest record to tumble for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, whose outrageous scoring feats show no signs of letting up even in the twilight of his career.

The result strengthens Al-Nassr's grip on second place after 24 matches as they bid to chase down leaders Al-Hilal and claim the SPL title.

While domestic glory is the first target, Ronaldo's blistering form and landmark goals continue to illustrate his ambitious claims of playing into his 40s cannot be discounted.
